Google Drawings Wireframing Kit

I plan web interfaces really often and User Experience is the part of my life. I know wireframing is the best way of communicating web user interfaces.
I love wireframing and I am very happy because I have found a very good new solution!
Morten Just, a user experience guy at Vodafone posted on his blog a smart way of using Google Drawings for wireframe’s.

Comparing Google Docs as a wireframing tool to Omnigraffle and Visio, his five outlined advantages include:

  1. It’s live. The entire team can work on the same document and see each other’s work instantly
  2. The wireframes live in the cloud, no sending files around, no outdated documents
  3. The risk of losing data is zero. It saves for every edit you make
  4. Most people already have a Google account, so no sign up required
  5. It’s free

The ultimate Html 5 resource for web designers

The dry facts:

W3C published a working draft for HTML 5 on 2008 January 22.

Some of the new features in HTML 5 are functions for embedding video , audio, graphics, client-side data storage, and interactive documents.

HTML 5 improves interoperability, and reduces development cost.

HTML 5 group includes the biggest IT brands of the world: AOL, Apple, Google, IBM, Microsoft, Mozilla, Nokia, Opera, and many hundred other vendors.

ExpressionEngine 2.0 Beta now live


I am very happy because I have bought new Expression Engine 2.0 beta. I am loyal customer since 2008 and of course always renewed the license so I paid only 50 USD for the upgrade. The new interface is very sexy thanks for Verlee I love it.

The software currently buggy like hell but it’s beta. When I have a little time I will test the new features. I think I have my new plaything for the holidays :-) ! Highly recommended!

The following licenses are available:

  • Non-Commercial ($149)
  • Freelance ($99)

If you purchased EE 1.6.3 or later, the upgrade price to 2.0 is only $50.
