Sense/Net Portal Engine TNG Beta Sign up

The company I work for is releasing a new ECMS and Portal software for the .Net platform. It is called Sense/Net Portal Engine TNG. But what makes it unique? It is Open Source, and soon it will be available for download under the GPL licence.

TNG stands for “the next generation”, as this is not a new software, but the rewrite of an established commercial product, with dozens of enterprise references, some of which I designed and built.

The best part of it is the Portal File System, which is an open source Content Repository. Pages, images, css files, articles, users, tempaltes are all stored here as contents. The PFS gives you a friendly URL, permissions, versioning and there is a nice GUI for managing all this, called Portal Explorer.

You can register for the beta test at: http://www.portalengine.org/signup
