Nathan Smith has released a very good css grid system. This system, named “960 Grid System” helps you to make or plan websites more easily. If you are interested you can download a full zip package that includes a PDF graph paper, templates for Photoshop, Fireworks,OmniGraffle, Visio and the CSS framework with demo HTML.

More about this system:
The 960 Grid System is an effort to streamline web development workflow by providing commonly used dimensions, based on a width of 960 pixels. There are two variants: 12 and 16 columns, which can be used separately or in tandem.
The 12 column grid is divided into portions that are 60 pixels wide. The 16 column grid consists of 40 pixel increments. Each column has 10 pixels of margin on the left and right, which create 20 pixel wide gutters between columns.
CSS grid systems are a bit complex to start to work with, especially for beginners. If you know CSS well enough, there is no real need for using them IMHO.
You guys are on a roll this calendar month! At this order, we’ll be looking new features every last hour or therefore by next year.. :) Way to function, and support ‘em coming!
